Goodbye Germany! - Family ties and a life for the animals on Zanzibar

Jenny Amann started rescuing animals as a child, injured birds, frogs, cats. Later she saved Chaka, a zebra, from being slaughtered. From then on, more and more requests came from all over the world for Jenny to take in injured or endangered wild animals. In 2012, the Swabian emigrated to Zanzibar and set up a sanctuary, "Cheetahs Rock. Up to 60 lions, tigers, hyenas, but also turtles, otters and bush babies are currently being cared for here by Jenny and her 20 employees. Cheetahs Rock" is financed by donations and entrance fees. Jenny takes visitors on tours of her facility four times a week. But there is a lot of resistance to her work from the locals. Time and again there are conflicts, and "Cheetahs Rock" has been broken into several times. Therefore, after 10 years in Tanzania, Jenny is considering dismantling the enclosures and moving on to another country with all her animals. The Alan family from Mannheim pulls the emergency brake: already at a young age, the head of the family Osan started his own business in the mobile phone industry, today he is a successful construction investor. But this has its price: while Derya takes care of the 3 children, Osan is permanently at work. Daily family life together? No way! Health consequences? Burn-out! Now the family emigrates to Turkey - the goal: to finally spend time together again as a family and work less. But just after arriving in Turkey, stress catches up with Osan. A construction project in Cappadocia is causing problems. Can the construction lion manage the balancing act between work and family? The children should also feel at home in Turkey right from the start - otherwise the emigration is considered a failure.
