Lege gets a taste for it - The best kebab in Germany
The doner kebab - Germany's most popular fast food. In this country, seven of them are eaten every second. But what is the secret of its success? Is it the meat, the flatbread or the sauces? What does it take to make a perfect kebab? The well-known foodexpert and product developer Sebastian Lege takes up this challenge. There are no taboos in the show “Lege gets a taste for it”. Using sometimes adventurous methods, he tinkers with this No. 1 dish in the Lege Lab set up especially for the show. The spit is square, the yoghurt sauce is frozen as small drops and garnished with deep-fried potato shreds. No distance is too far for the taste hunter.
Sebastian Lege gets his inspiration for his unique kebab variation from all over the world. His goal is nothing less than to create the best kebab in Germany. At “Mustafa's Gemüsedöner”, for example, he gets an exclusive insight into the cult Berlin snack bar, where even US rapper Kanye West and Bianca Censori recently queued up. In the grand finale, Sebastian Lege then competes against two of the most successful kebab sellers. 50 test eaters will then judge who makes the best kebab in Germany. Will Sebastian Lege succeed with his unique and unconventional approach? Will Lege acquire a taste for it?
