The VOX docu-soap focuses on couples whose love is "very unusual" and who are therefore exposed to the gaze of society on a daily basis. But what makes these couples tick and what do they have in common? How much criticism can their relationship take and how do they deal with it in general?
Noah loves Vanessa and has done so for over three years. The two got to know each other when Noah was still Corinna. Now Noah has decided to undergo all gender reassignment surgeries. Florian Sitzmann is the man without legs. He is an amputee up to the groin and is in a wheelchair. Mrs. Anika is not bothered by this. She loves her Flo even as "half a man". Jakob is a believer and homosexual. Friend Dennis accompanies him to the mosque.
