Glow Up - Germany's next make-up star - music video
In the fifth episode, the MUAs dive into the world of music. Which MUA succeeds in convincing Conchita Wurst of his music video look? And who will transform their favourite song into a breathtaking make-up?
Over eight episodes, the participants have to prove their artistic + technical skills in different challenges. A great prize awaits the winner of the season: 20 thousand euros and an agency contract.
In each episode, the MUAs compete in two challenges. The first, the "Real Life Challenge", is based on the real working life of a make-up artist. In the second challenge, the participants are given a creative task in which they have to deal with their personality and sometimes do their own make-up.
The two make-up artists who have impressed the jury the least after the two challenges have to compete against each other in the "Face Off". The task here is to prove their technical skills within the shortest possible time. Whoever loses, goes. In the eighth episode, the best three participants compete in the final.
A top-class jury will judge the creations and breathtaking transformations of the make-up talents. The permanent jury - consisting of Armin Morbach + Loni Baur - is supported by a guest jury every week.
The host of "Glow Up" is Riccardo Simonetti. The entertainer and author accompanies the aspiring talents on an intensive journey into the world of make-up art and learns a lot about the personalities of the participants and their life stories in conversations.
