Two years ago, Sonja gave up everything in Germany to start a new life in the Dominican Republic. And she did so because of the great love that the Dominican promised the Dortmund native. Daughter Madeleine was born in Germany and the family was happy. But now father Boris wants to turn their whole life upside down and emigrate. To his wife's former homeland, of all places, which she had already left behind. Out of love, Tana follows her husband. But she regrets this momentous step on the very first day of her emigration. For life in the Dominican Republic will be harder than expected for the little family! Their resort hardly finds any guests in times of Corona and the money is more than scarce. For more than 10 years they have been running the smallest dive school in Bayahibe. Iris + Mark know the Dominican Republic like the back of their hand. They were successful as dive instructors + businessmen and had built up a loyal customer base over many years of professional work. Now they are about to sell their lifelong dream, because their customers are no longer allowed to enter the country. Does Corona actually bring their life dream to burst?
