Two women who couldn't be more different leave their lives in Germany behind for the same reason to build a new life with the love of their lives far away. Dr Franziska Rubin has successfully built a career as a television presenter in Germany. Now, after 14 years of relationship, she is giving up her life in Germany in favour of her Australian husband Pete and his career and is moving with her whole family to Brisbane, Australia. Romina Simula from Bremen gives up her secure and well-paid job as a bank clerk to move to Mexico with her boyfriend Jonathan, whom she met on holiday. After just two weeks together, she is so in love that she is willing to give up everything for him for an uncertain future. Two women emigrate for love - with great feelings and hopes. The fact that all expectations are not always fulfilled does not go unnoticed. But in the end, both fight for their respective partnerships.
