About 30 million firs, spruces and other conifers are brought into the warmth of the Advent season. A Christmas tree can be found in 72% of all German households. Only about 10 years ago, every fourth Christmas tree came from abroad. This has changed: 9 out of 10 Christmas trees today have German roots in the truest sense of the word.
