On the way with Tamina Kallert - Pellworm - Green Island in the Wadden Sea
Lush grassland, wide sky, countless sheep on the dike. These are the typical hallmarks of Pellworm. The third largest North Frisian island is located in the middle of the "National Park Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea" and is surrounded by the world's unique Halligen. Instead of long sandy beaches, there is only one green beach: Here are the beach chairs in a meadow. Tamina Kallert wants to find out what this little island has, what others do not have, and embarks on a journey with many unknowns. She accompanies Knud Knudsen, Germany's only watt postman, on his tour through the mudflats and meets curious seals on a deserted sand bank in front of Pellworm. She climbs to the highest point of the North Sea island and even finds a bottle post.
