Barn Treasures - Crazy Stories of Tractors and their Owners
Hermann Unfried is a pensioner from Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, while David Graser from Aalen-Ebnat is only 18 years old + an apprentice. But both have a common passion: they are owners and collectors of old tractors. The "boy" bought his HELA, built in 1955, himself and refurbished it. The "old man" owns, among other things, a Porsche Super B309 built in 1961.
The three generations of the Stöhr family from Rottenburg am Neckar also have a common interest: rare vintage tractors, such as the Lanz Holzvergaser. But they should not only look beautiful, they should also drive. To this end, they are constantly tinkering + repairing.
Many unique tractors are still in use in the southwest. Whether only for carriage rides like the "Schlüter" or the "Deutz" during the grape harvest. Even parish priest Johannes Berthold in Vorderweidenthal in the Palatinate does his "work" around the church with a barn treasure Bautz AS 120, built in 1953. The tractor causes a stir and a small miracle in the parish.
For farmer Markus Hehle in Schlier in the Ravensburg district, it is not only the F22 tractor from 1941 that is in daily use. Whether in the field or on the farm, he has the right tractor for every job. Together they are several hundred years old + still work like on the first day.
