Crazy for the sea - discover the world from the water" - Goodbye USA, Welcome Canada!
The docu-series "Crazy for the Sea - Discovering the World from the Water" focuses on a comparatively small cruise ship with a capacity of only 400 passengers. The advantage that comes with being smaller than its giant relatives is that the ship can sail to destinations that other cruisers cannot reach. Therefore, passengers find themselves in places that have their own charm away from the mainstream of tourism.
The small cruise ship heads for ‘Windsor’, Canada's southernmost city in the province of Ontario. Here the passengers have some time to go on short excursions before travelling on to the metropolis of Toronto. Petra and Jürgen take the opportunity to go wine tasting, which ends on a cheerful note. Andrea and Gerhard are also in a good mood as they recreate sculptures in the park in Windsor. Great art is also the theme on board the cruise ship, as rehearsals for the crew show in the evening are in full swing. Entertainer Frank oversees the proceedings and gives final stage directions, after all, the crew need a bit of help.
On stage, the crew ensemble really heats up the guests with a glamour performance. The atmosphere reaches its climax when the kitchen crew parades through the corridors upstairs. Even the hotel manager Alexandra Cortese can hardly contain herself at the sight. While some celebrate, the ship docks in Toronto. The next morning, sisters-in-law Ulrike and Maria set off on a sightseeing tour of the city and end up on the longest street in the world. Olaf and his wife Christiane are also travelling on asphalt. The two motorbike enthusiasts rent a Harley and explore the city on their own.
